20 Australian calculators

Most calculators give you a number. These give you the decision, priced.

One calculator per Australian money decision worth getting right — the ones where the rule is real, the money is large, and nobody whose job it is to tell you has any obligation to.

Each one applies the published rules to your own figures, shows the working, and prices every lawful option side by side. Free to run. The full report is one payment, and nothing renews.

Why these exist

The arithmetic is the part
everybody is missing.

Not the rule — the rules are published. What is missing is somebody running them on your figures and showing you what each lawful option actually leaves you.

A free widget prices the obvious option

It works out the number you already knew you would have to pay. What it never does is price the alternative — and on most of these decisions the gap between the two is the largest number on the page.

Advice starts in the thousands

A licensed adviser is the right answer for a genuinely finely balanced position, and every calculator here says so. But nobody should pay four figures to find out whether the question is worth asking.

The deadline usually arrives first

Most of these rules run on a date — a measurement date, a lodgement date, a limitation period. By the time the position is obvious, the choice that would have changed it has already been made.

So each one prices every lawful option, side by side

You enter your own figures. It applies the published rules, shows the working, and ranks every lawful option on one stated measure — then tells you what the gap between first and last is worth. It does not recommend one, and it says so.

Every calculator

Pick the decision you are
actually facing.

Each one is a separate product with its own rules, its own figures and its own price. All of them are free to run.

How every one of them works

The same three steps,
whichever one you open.

1. Answer the questions, free

No card, no account, no email address. It applies the published rules to what you entered and shows you where you stand — a real answer, not a teaser with the number blurred out.

2. See the gap between the options

Every lawful alternative priced on your own figures and ranked on one stated measure, with the working visible. The distance between best and worst is the reason the whole exercise is worth doing.

3. Keep the report if you want it

One payment unlocks the full report for that calculator: every option, every chart, the PDF export and a private link for a partner, an accountant or an adviser. It does not expire and there is nothing to renew.

Before you start

The questions people
ask us first.

Are the calculators free to use?

Every calculator on this domain is free to run and gives you a real answer without a card, an account or an email address. The full report — every option priced, ranked and exported — is a single payment to the calculator you are using. It is not a subscription and there is nothing to cancel.

Do I have to create an account?

Not to use a calculator. You only make an account when you buy a report, and it exists so the report is still there when you come back to it. Each calculator keeps its own account and its own reports.

Is any of this financial, tax or legal advice?

No. Each calculator applies published rules to the figures you type in and shows the arithmetic, with every working visible. It ranks the options it has priced on one stated measure and does not recommend one, because what suits your wider position is a question only a licensed adviser who knows it can answer. What the reports are for is walking into that conversation already knowing the numbers.

How current are the rates and thresholds?

Every calculator states on its own pages the schedule, income year or effective date it is running on, and every figure quoted in its copy is read from the same file the calculation uses — so a page cannot quote one rate while the engine uses another.

Can I keep the report, or share it?

Yes. A report can be exported as a PDF, saved to your account and re-run as many times as you like on different figures, and shared as a private link with a partner, an accountant or an adviser. Shared links are never indexed by search engines.

Who is behind these calculators?

One Australian company, named in full on the legal pages of every calculator, with one support inbox for the whole domain. Each calculator is its own product with its own subject, its own rules and its own price — the company behind all of them is the same one.

Reading is useful. Knowing what the decision in front of you is about to cost is better.
